Now back in Durham, the Blue Devils are preparing for their second home game of the season with a 6 PM kickoff this Saturday at Wallace Wade Stadium against UConn.

UConn comes into the matchup with momentum after a 63-17 blowout win over Merrimack, an FCS school, but the Huskies struggled in Week 1, suffering a 50-7 loss to Maryland. They'll likely be looking for redemption against Duke after last year’s 41-7 defeat, when the Blue Devils "Captured the Flagg" in East Hartford, Connecticut.

I expect the Blue Devils to come out firing through the air, but they will likely use this game as an opportunity to work on their run game. Defensively, I anticipate Duke will stifle UConn’s offense, limiting their scoring chances.

With that in mind, I’m taking the over and predicting Duke will cover the spread in what promises to be an action-packed evening at Wallace Wade Stadium.
