The stakes couldn’t be higher as Duke aims to break a frustrating five-game losing streak to its archrival and kick off ACC play with a statement win.  A victory would not only bring the Victory Bell back to its rightful place in Durham but also put the Blue Devils just one win away from bowl eligibility.  It’s more than just a rivalry game—it’s a chance for Duke to make a strong early push in the ACC and set the tone for the rest of the season. 

SCORE PREDICTION

Duke is currently favored at home by 2.5 points, with an Over/Under set at 55.5.  I expect the Blue Devils to maintain their offensive momentum, leaning on the ground game with Star Thomas and (if healthy) Jaquez Moore, while also keeping UNC's defense on its heels through the air.  With Duke’s defense playing at a high level, I’m taking the Under in this matchup.  I see the Blue Devils keeping the Victory Bell right where it belongs and sending Carolina back to Hell.
